Kentucky Weight Distance Tax (WDT)
The Kentucky weight distance tax (WDT) is based on the total miles of commercial vehicles travel through Kentucky State. If a commercial vehicle which has a declared weight or actual weight equals to or exceeds 60,000 pounds and that vehicle travel through Kentucky then KYU number must be obtained and Kentucky Weight Distance Tax quarterly return must have to be filed. A KYU number is proof of registration with Kentucky to pay the Taxes. Tax returns should be sent on quarterly basis with in due date to avoid penalty.

When to File Kentucky WDT
To file the Kentucky WDT return you will be needed KYU # which is required for filling the return each return must have to be filled quarterly basis on due date to avoid penalty.
